Our Blue Christmas coincides with the Winter Solstice as well as the traditional feast day for Saint Thomas the Apostle, making some connections between Thomas's struggle to believe the tale of Jesus' resurrection, the long nights just before Christmas, and the struggle with darkness and grief faced by those living with loss.

Given the overwhelming response to clothing closets. we have transitioned out hats, mittens and scarfs tree to a Giving Tree to support our area Ministry Partners.

Parking is available for a donation to the Madison County Racial Justice Coalition on December 1 beginning at 4 pm.

We are rescheduling the third Sunday fellowship meal to the evening of November 17 when we will host a special Thanksgiving dinner with Mars Hill University students.

Haywood Street Congregation is our November Mission of the Month. They have continued to provide services to the community during the recovery from Hurricane Helene and can benefit from our gifts.
