There is misinformation about what the ongoing and future United Methodist Church believes. Some of this misinformation is sadly being shared in local churches - here’s the truth from our Council of Bishops and WNC’s Resident Bishop Ken Carter.

With school starting back this month, we'll be hosting our annual school supply drive. We'll have donation cards available for needed supplies on Sunday, Aug. 7. You can also connect with us to request a card and shopping list for needed school supplies.

The United Methodist Women (UMW) will be meet Tuesday, August 9 at 1 pm. Michael and Andrea Clem, owners of the Meadowsweet Creamery ice cream shop in Mars Hill, will be featured speakers.

With so much happening today, the world might seem unsettled and scary right now, but remember that the people of faith have weathered greater challenges than these throughout the years.
