We look at a house with many rooms this Sunday in John's Gospel. People often use these verses to build a heavy oak door to lock others out. They turn Jesus into a boundary line. 

One of our hymns John Bell’s 𝑻𝒉𝒆 π‘Ίπ’–π’Žπ’Žπ’π’π’” boldly asks:
The women stayed. They stood at the cross and watched. They followed to the tomb. They saw where his body was laid.

Then before dawn they came back carrying spices and grief.

They were not looking for a miracle.They were looking for Jesus.

In case you missed it, our Second Sunday after Pentecost worship from Sunday, June 7 featured a sermon based on New Testament and Gospel readings from Luke 4:16–21, 2 Corinthians 3:6  and Matthew 7:16–20.
