Love & Serve

Mars Hill United Methodist Church participates in missions of the broader United Methodist Church. Our members are involved weekly in Neighbors in Need in Madison County; Haywood Street Clothing Closet, and the Haywood Street Congregation serving the homeless in Asheville.

Mars Hill UMC Ongoing Missions

Pastor’s Discretionary Fund

At Mars Hill United Methodist Church, our Pastor’s Discretionary Fund helps our pastor pay for the needs of the people of Madison County. Please make your check out to the church or put cash in an envelope with “PDF” marked on the envelope or on the check and place it in the offering plate.

Neighbors in Need

Our Madison County neighbors need food, electricity, and heating assistance in the winter months. You can help by bringing canned food (only non-perishables), baby food, and diapers for babies and adults. If you would prefer to donate to support contributions to electric bills and heating assistance, please make a check payable to the church, designate it “Neighbors in Need” and place it in the offering plate.
