For the first time sine 2019, we celebrated our Children’s Sabbath on October 15 during our 11:15 am worship. Children, teachers and families from our preschool joined us.

In collaboration and our sister church, we will host an evening of Pumpkin Carving, Games & a Community Potluck Dinner on October 21 at 4 pm.

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by supporting our October Mission of the Month, La Esperanza

Our church will host a public prayer vigil on October 12 at 5 pm at 201 South Main Street in Mars Hill.

On October 15 at 11:15 am, we will host our first Preschool Sunday since 2019. We’re excited to worship alongside the school’s students, teachers and families. We will also host our monthly fellowship luncheon on this date.

Serena McMillan, Ph.D., Assistant Chaplain at Mars Hill University will preach on October 8 at Mars Hill United Methodist Church.

Following Blue Ridge Pride Week and the Blue Ridge Pride Festival, we will host a Pride Eucharist on October 1 during our 11:15 am worship.

United Women in Faith will meet October 10 at 2 pm at the church to make plans for the upcoming Christmas Bazaar.
