Welcome
Call to Worship
You are the salt of the earth, Jesus says—
a people meant to bring flavor, healing, and hope.
We come ready to offer our lives to God.
You are the light of the world—
a people called to shine, not hide.
We come longing to live with courage and compassion.
God’s light is already among us.
God’s love is already at work.
Let us worship the One who calls us to live what we believe.

Confession
God of light and truth,
you call us to be salt in the earth and light in the world,
yet we confess that we often hide what you have given us.
We have stayed quiet when love needed a voice.
We have dimmed our compassion to fit in.
We have chosen comfort over courage
and silence over justice.
We confess that we sometimes lose our flavor—
forgetting who we are and whose we are.
Forgive us, O God. Renew in us the light of Christ,
so that our lives may reflect your love
in ways both humble and bold. Amen
Words of Assurance
Great Thanksgiving
The Lord’s Prayer
Holy God, Light beyond all light,
your name shines through all creation.
May your reign of love draw near.
May your justice and mercy take shape among us,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us today the bread we need for this journey —
food for our bodies, hope for our spirits,
and courage for the road ahead.
Forgive us when we lose our way,
when fear dims our vision,
and when we turn from the light you offer.
As we forgive others and choose grace over judgment.
Guide us when the path is unclear.
Protect us from the powers that harm,
and free us from all that keeps us from love.
For yours is the kin-dom, the power that heals,
and the glory that shines in the darkness,
now and forever. Amen.
