Joys, Concerns, and Prayers of the People with the Lord’s Prayer

Our Mother, our Father,
source of all life and liberation,
your presence is holy,
and your dream of justice is coming.

Let your will be done
not just in heaven, but here on earth —
in the streets and shelters,
in the jails and boardrooms,
in every place where your children suffer.

Our Mother, our Father,
source of all life and liberation,
your presence is holy,
and your dream of justice is coming.

Let your will be done
not just in heaven, but here on earth —
in the streets and shelters,
in the jails and boardrooms,
in every place where your children suffer.

Give us today the bread we need —
and the courage to share it with others.
Forgive us for the ways we have harmed,
just as we forgive those who have harmed us.

Lead us not into the temptations of power, apathy, or fear,
but deliver us from every system that destroys.

For your reign of love, justice, and peace
has no end.
Amen.
