Call to Worship

Come, weary ones, burdened by the demands of life.
We come to find rest in God’s presence
Come, restless ones, caught in the swirl of striving and doing.
We come to remember we are more than what we produce.
Come, joyful ones, eager to taste God’s delight.
We come to celebrate the gift of Sabbath.
ogether, we worship the God who calls us to rest, to rejoice, and to resist the lie that we are never enough.

Joys, Concerns, and Prayers of the People with the Lord’s Prayer

Loving Creator, who dwells among us and within us,
Holy is your name.
Let your dream for justice take root,
Your will be done in our living and our labor,
Here on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us today the bread we need—
Bread for our bodies,
And bread for our souls.
Forgive us for the harm we have caused—
To others, to the earth, and to ourselves.
As we forgive those who have wounded us,
Help us to release resentment and repair what we can.

Lead us away from the fears that divide us,
And guide us toward the courage that heals.
For your love is the power,
Your grace is the glory,
Now and forever.
Amen.
