✝️ Ash Wednesday 2026: Three Opportunities to Worship

On February 18, Ash Wednesday will offer three opportunities for worship, a community service at noon on the campus of Mars Hill University, a special joint service at Brooks Howell Home with St. Paul’s United Methodist Church with a sermon from Pastor Kelly at 10 am and a service at Mars Hill United Methodist Church at 6 pm.

Mars Hill Community Service

On Ash Wednesday, March 5 there will be an ecumenical worship service at noon (to be confirmed) in the Broyhill Chapel on the Mars Hill University campus.

Brooks Howell Service with Pastor Kelly

There will be an Ash Wednesday service at 10 am at Brooks Howell Home featuring a sermon from Pastor Kelly and music from St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in West Asheville.

Evening Service at Mars Hill United Methodist Church + Livestream

We will hold an evening service at in our sanctuary on South Main Street in Mars Hill at 6 pm featuring a sermon from Pastor Kelly. If you’re unable to join us in Mars Hill, we invite you to worship alongside us online.
