🎒July’s Mission of the Month: Back-to-School Support for Local Families

This July, our church is joining forces with First Baptist Church of Burnsville and Circle of Mercy in Asheville to support local families as they prepare for the new school year. Together, we’re partnering with La Esperanza to provide back-to-school clothes and supplies for families in Madison, Buncombe, and Yancey Counties.

At the request of Jennifer Gutierrez, La Esperanza’s co-director, we have tags available listing specific sizes and age-appropriate items needed for the children. Church families are invited to take a tag, shop for the listed items, and return the purchases—along with the tag—to the church by the last Sunday in July.

Your generosity will help ensure that 11 families and 23 children start the school year equipped and confident.
