πŸ—“οΈ Trash and Treasures Sale Coming Saturday, May 2

The Annual Trash and Treasures Sale returns to Mars Hill United Methodist Church on Saturday May 2 from 9 am until 1 pm. The sale is sponsored by the United Women in Faith, formerly known as United Methodist Women (UMW).

It will feature:

  • kitchenwares and home decor

  • purses

  • small furniture items

  • pictures and wall hangings

  • linens

  • books, puzzles and games

  • tools

  • jewelry and accessories

  • small appliances and

  • PLANTS πŸͺ΄ and garden accessories.

The proceeds from the sale will support area ministries and nonprofits.  In past years we have provided funds for the Haywood Street, Neighbors in Need, the Madison County Community Housing Coalition, United Methodist Committee on Relief, My Sister’s Place and others.

How to Support the Sale

Please bring your donated items to the church fellowship and placed in the food pantry storage room or contact Violet or Mary for pickup.

  • Remember, we won’t be accepting clothing or shoes. 

  • Items such as household goods, small appliances, jewelry, linens, toys, games, books, sporting goods, framed art, kitchen equipment, home decor and tools are welcome.

  • Contact Violet (828-989-9389) or Mary (919-332-0009) for more information or to help with the sale.  We need cashiers, setup, cleanup and others manning particular sections of the sale. 

  • Everyone is invited to shop!
