Welcome

Call to Worship

Come, people of God, and rest in the presence of the Holy One.
We bring our hearts, our hopes, our fears, and our prayers.

God invites us to stillness, not as escape, but as grounding for our lives.
In prayer, we find strength for the journey and courage for the work ahead.

Let us worship God, who meets us in the quiet and speaks in the still small voice.
Come, Holy Spirit, and ground us in Your love.

Prayer That Grounds Us | Rev. Kelly Dotson

Joys, Concerns, and Prayers of the People with the Lord’s Prayer

Loving Creator, who dwells among us and within us,
Holy is your name.
Let your dream for justice take root,
Your will be done in our living and our labor,
Here on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us today the bread we need—
Bread for our bodies,
And bread for our souls.
Forgive us for the harm we have caused—
To others, to the earth, and to ourselves.
As we forgive those who have wounded us,
Help us to release resentment and repair what we can.

Lead us away from the fears that divide us,
And guide us toward the courage that heals.
For your love is the power,
Your grace is the glory,
Now and forever.
Amen.
