I Come with Joy to Meet My Lord      arr, Dorothy V.  Frisch

Welcome

Call to Worship

Come, people of God, and find life in the company of one another.
We come, bringing our stories, our struggles, and our joys.
In the breaking of bread and the sharing of prayer, God is made known.
We come to be strengthened, to be renewed, and to be sent.
Together, we are the Body of Christ—many members, yet one Spirit.
Let us worship God with glad and generous hearts!

Joys, Concerns, and Prayers of the People with the Lord’s Prayer

Loving Creator, who dwells among us and within us,
Holy is your name.
Let your dream for justice take root,
Your will be done in our living and our labor,
Here on earth, as it is in heaven.

Give us today the bread we need—
Bread for our bodies,
And bread for our souls.
Forgive us for the harm we have caused—
To others, to the earth, and to ourselves.
As we forgive those who have wounded us,
Help us to release resentment and repair what we can.

Lead us away from the fears that divide us,
And guide us toward the courage that heals.
For your love is the power,
Your grace is the glory,
Now and forever.
Amen.
