Call to Worship

God Calls Us Beyond Our Comfort Zone

God is doing a new thing — opening doors we thought were closed.
We come, ready to be surprised by grace.
God calls us beyond our comfort zones, beyond what we have known or imagined.
We come, trusting the Spirit to guide our steps.

The table is wider than we dreamed. The welcome is deeper than we’ve known.
Let us worship the God who shows no partiality and calls us into Beloved Community!

Joy & Concerns and Prayers of the People

Loving Creator,
you dwell among us and invite us to your table.
May your kin-dom come near,
and your dream of justice and joy take root on earth.
Give us this day the bread we truly need—
the bread of compassion, the bread of enough.
Forgive us when we hoard or exclude,
and teach us to forgive with open hands and hearts.
Lead us away from fear and into your abundant life.
For yours is the kin-dom, the power of love,
and the glory of grace, now and forever. Amen.
