May 25 Guest Speaker: Jennifer Guierrez, Co-Director of La Esperanza

Jennifer Guierrez is a proud U.S. citizen whose life and work are deeply shaped by the immigrant experience. She honors the journey of her parents, who immigrated to this country many years ago—and without whom she would not be here.

Jennifer has long felt called to nonprofit work and now serves as the Co-Director of La Esperanza, a community-based organization committed to supporting and uplifting immigrant families in Western North Carolina. Her role has connected her with people from many countries and cultures, each with unique stories and needs. She finds profound beauty in that diversity and is continually inspired by the resilience and richness of the communities she serves.

Jennifer is deeply proud to be the daughter of immigrant parents and grateful to be doing work she loves in the heart of the community she calls home.
