🕊️ Pentecost Sunday with Rev. Kris Kramer: A Spirit-Led Homecoming

““I am always excited to come home and to share my faith in the place where I first heard about Jesus.””
— Rev Kris Kramer

Pentecost Sunday (June 8, 2025) Guest Preacher: Rev. Kris Kramer

On Pentecost Sunday, June 8, Mars Hill United Methodist Church is delighted to welcome back Rev. Kris Kramer as our guest preacher. A child of this congregation and son of beloved member Connie Kramer—who also celebrates her birthday this Pentecost!—Kris brings a lifelong connection to this community and a deep commitment to ministry.

Rev. Kramer currently serves as Director of the Acorn Christian Healing Foundation, where he coordinates healing hubs throughout the UK and online. He has been an ordained priest in the Church of England for 28 years, but his call to ministry began right here at Mars Hill UMC. A proud 1988 graduate of Mars Hill College (now University), Kris also holds graduate degrees from Duke University and Oxford University.

In addition to his work with Acorn, he hosts a weekly podcast called Coffee Pods, offering reflections on Christian healing, and serves as a volunteer Theatre Chaplain in London’s West End. This July, he will serve as an ICS Chaplain in Interlaken and Grindelwald, Switzerland.

Kris shares, “I am always excited to come home and to share my faith in the place where I first heard about Jesus.”
